the vision:
on the grounds of the wernberg castle operating as a hotel, S&P concept was to design a 1.100 sqm purpose-built seminar and workshop facility tailored to the needs of top executives and creative organizations.
as construction solution s&p choose a prefab timber pavillon whose form, materials wood surfaces and transparent design successfully integrate it into the surrounding natural setting.
the project with kaufmann bausysteme introduced s&p to the possibilities of sustained timber architecture and carbon sequestration. the complex is divided by dual multi-tiered terraces that separate a generously proportioned reception / lounge from the flexibly-designed seminar areas.
deviate, design what's relevant tomorrow!
