the vision:
after the renovation project of hamburg’s dammtor railway station by s&p, it won the prize for germany’s most popular railway station.
it was completely refurbished with a design concepts that effectively marries the spirit of the original historic interior with the needs of a modern-day travel hub.
improved circulation and lighting, plus climatic infrastructure technology concealed behind new vaulted ceilings that are linked with transparent shop fronts, have dramatically improved the quality and atmosphere of the station’s 6.000 sqm entire interior..
